miracle polish
Renaissance Wax works beyond expectations in polishing wood items that I turn on my lathe. It creates a luster finish that makes my wood look like it was done by a professional. It is a product that is not messy and easy to use.

Renaissance Wax
Product used on furniture restoration projects. Simply the best final finish I have experienced!!

Best available wax for antique furniture
This is probably the best available wax to apply on antique furniture - I will not damage the finish of the piece, will not darken it (as some oils do) and will preserve its patina

BEST WAX ON THE PLANET
I make exotic wood boxes as gifts for for family and friends. Some take many weeks to complete. The last thing I do to my pieces is to give them a coat of Renaissance Wax. It pulls together final finishes like nothing else and resists fingerprints. Pieces finished this way are so slick thats it's easy to loose your grip. I typically sand to 4000 grit before applying several coats of Tung oil. What the Ren. Wax does to this finish is remarkable, but it works equally well on other finishes. It is particularly useful on the sliding wooden drawer runners in my boxes, making them glide like Clark Grizwauld's sled in Christmas Vacation. Sorry. This is my first ever review, but I think so highly of Renaissance Wax that I had to share. My 2nd Grade teacher would be so proud.

A Fantastic All-Around Wax
I'm a professional silver restoration/conservation specialist who's been using Renaissance wax for 26 years. I use it to protect silver from tarnishing, on coffee, teapot handles, and ivory to seal out moisture and protect from silver polish, on my tools to prevent rust, even on my bicycle. A little goes a long way. The only downside is the smell, but this dissipates after about 24 hours from application. A small price to pay for a great product used by museums around the world.

versatile stuff
Among all the other things this stuff is good for, it is great as a protective coat on oil paintings and even on delicate watercolors and ink drawings.....it makes the paper impervious to water and grime, but does not visibly change the look of the paper. Wonderful for protecting old documents and photos too. One caveat on oil paintings: make sure the paint has cured for 6 months or so before applying wax. If the painting is subjected to a smokey/grimey environment after being waxed, simply re-wax with Renaissance and it comes bright and clean---and it equalizes the sheen of different paint areas.

Excellent Product
I use it on my wood-lathed items over oil, poly or acrylic finishes. It leaves a nice feel after it hardens completely, no 'drag' like other waxes. Protects against fingerprints better than other waxes IMHO and is completely clear unlike some other waxes.

This product is great for cast iron surfaces such as table saw tops and jointer tables.

GREAT STUFF FOR AVOIDING FINGERPRINTS!
Applied as last coat to avoid fingerprints.
-
Great product.
I use it on my handmade knife handles (Cherry, Cocobolo,Rosewood) and on the Cherry presentation cases and it is astounding. Warm, hard non-greasey finish, easy and fast to use. Pricey but a very little goes a long way.

Renwax
A little goes a long ways. Retards moisture and fingerprints on knives.

Great Product
Easy to apply, brings great shine and luster to projects. Resists fingerprints.
-
Great product for protecting your tools
Expensive wax, but a small amount goes a long way. I'm using it strictly to protect my tools and irons from corrosion. Also used it on some silver plated items...seems to be holding up better than most paste waxes

renaissance The best
There is no wax that can compare to renaissance. It will keep a surface sooth as silk.No rubbing off residue wax,Renaissance goes on and needs no additional wiping off.

Nice wax to use
I have used this on several carvings and wood puzzles. It provides a really nice finish on wood when it is buffed.

Best kept secret among gun collectors
Amazing product that works great on gloss blued guns to fill in micro scratches and remove smudge marks. Makes wood stocks and grips look like brand new. It has a unbelievable ability to prevent finger prints. Don't apply to matt finishes.
-
The Great Preserver
I use this product to clean and preserve my small collection of artifacts. If museums use to help their collections, can I do less?
-
Excellent for Brass
This is a great product for sealing brass to either protect your patina, or protect it from getting one.
-
Great Protection For Collector Metals
Preverved the finish on knife collection and knives that are packed and unpacked for sale at weekend knife and gun shows.

Used on my pens

Excellent Product. Well worth the money.
I purchased it to finish painted tiny doll faces but will now use it as the final finish on all of my artwork. I have never found a product that was so quick and easy to use, give the professional results that this wax does. I was hooked on the first application.

most excellent product
I started using this product for a final finish step on my wood turnings becasue it holds up to fingerprints and handling much better than other final finishes. Handled objects can esily be rebuffed simply with a soft clothe. However, I also found that it serves extremely well as a protective coating on metal surfaces such as table saw, jointer, planer, etc. It protects very well against fingerprint rust and also provides for a much desired slippery surface for gliding wood on the tool surface. Nice soft lustre finish for nearly anything in and out of the shop! Highly recommended.

Product did what it was suppose to do
Use the product to wax alluminum tracks

Works as advertised
It works better than anything I have ever used to protect my expensive tools. A little bit goes a long ways. So, even though it is expensive, one can has lasted me for over 3 years. I apply it to the top of my table saw every three months, and it not only protects the surface, but also makes it very easy to push wood across the table. Also, I use it on all my tool surfaces, especially on cast iron surfaces. My wife uses it on our leather furniture, and loves it.
