Precision CNC machined and designed for the woodturner who wants a premium chuck with no compromises, the SC3 Chuck provides a lighter and more compact solution. Ideal for use on any lathe, particularly small to medium sized machines, it is compatible with the full jaw range. At only 2 lb. 10 oz., the compact, lightweight design reduces load on the lathe spindles and bearings and gives, while providing excellent access to smaller workpieces. Large jaw slides offer unrivaled strength and holding power that cannot be found in other chucks of this size. Chuck body is approximately 3-7/16" diameter, depth is 1-3/4", and weight is 2 lb. 10 oz. SC3 Package includes one each of the following: 1" x 8 TPI SC3 Geared Scroll Chuck, 50mm Standard Jaws, Deep Wood Screw, Pinion Key, and 3" (87mm) Faceplate Ring.

Wanted to like it😕
Bought this chuck at the OKC Wood Craft while on sale. Worked ok, but the small allen head screws stripped out easily. This only after about 7 months of partial use. Let’s just say, it didn’t set any “Record.” Moving onto a Nova.
