Built in the Czech tradition of bench making, this bench delivers mass, rigidity and vise capacity that support handwork and assembly without the cost of a fully finished bench.
The bench arrives untreated, allowing you to break edges, tune the vise jaws and apply the finish that best fits your shop. The block‑laminated Beech top resists movement under seasonal changes, while the thick front skirt adds stiffness where clamping pressure is highest. Two vises can be configured for left‑ or right‑handed use, giving flexibility in bench layout without modifying the structure.
A lower shelf adds useful ballast and storage, and four steel bench dogs are included for securing work across the full length of the top. Assembly instructions and sandpaper are provided so the bench can be brought into service with minimal setup before finishing.
