When size and speed matter, this Oliver 4470 25-inch planer is the ultimate machine in its class. The Byrd Shelix™ cutterhead and massive cast iron construction throughout allows up to a 1/4” cut while providing incredible results. This machine comes in a 10HP 1Ph or 15HP 3Ph version to meet the electrical demands of every industrial woodworker.

  • Helical carbide inserts are indexed for quick changing.
  • Massive cast iron construction throughout allows up to a 1/4” cut.
  • Polished built-in table roller assists movement of rough stock.
  • Segmented infeed roller and sectional chip breaker easily handle rough stock.
  • Dual outfeed rollers assist with heavy stock.
  • 3-speed gear box (20, 25, 30 FMP) provides the perfect feed rate.
  • Power assisted table with digital readout makes for quick, accurate, adjustments.
  • Hinged access to cutter head and feed rollers for quick set-up.
  • Easy access to motor, drive train, and gearbox assist in maintenance and adjustment with a 5" dust port for chip removal.
  • Powerful TEFC 15HP 3Ph 240V/440V (prewired 220V) motor with magnetic controls with emergency off switch for safer operation

Return Information

Returns are accepted by Oliver Machinery within 30 days of receipt. Return Materials Authorization (RMA) required prior to return. A 20% restocking fee will be applied. Customer responsible for return freight. Contact Woodcraft Customer Service for return assistance at 1-800-225-1153.

Warranty Information

Oliver Machinery warrants its products to the original customer as free from defects for a period of two years on parts and 1 year for the electronics and motor.
