Micro-Mesh is a unique cushioned abrasive capable of giving very fine & very controlled scratch patterns. The grits range from 1500 to 12000. The 1500 is slightly more coarse than a conventional 600 grit sandpaper & the 12000 will leave scratch patterns that cannot be detected by the human eye.
Micro-Mesh abrasives can polish to an optically clear, reflective state or through the use of a more coarse grit, leave a matte or satin finish. Excellent product to use as a final rub for water-based finishes.

Great finish and easy to use!
They work great and are easy to get a good finish with. The only downside is that the grit markings on the back wear off very quickly and it is hard to tell which is which without a color code.
Great finish fast
I used the Micro-Mesh sanding discs, in order, on a nitrocellulose finish using naptha as a lubricant and had a pretty good shine before polishing in about 30 to 40 minutes per side on a guitar project. No scratches, minimal cleanup smooth finish quickly. Polishes to a brilliant shine easliy after the discs. Totally impressed.
glass smooth finish
Easy to follow instructions on finishing. The disks can be used on bare wood or on a finished surface. Left my projects with a glass smooth gloss finish! Pads can leave a satin or gloss finish depending on the grits used. Sands quickly, and efficiently! Disks can be washed with water to clean them and then air dried till next use. So far a very durable well thought out, usefull product.
I used these on a newly built tv stand and some refinished cabinet doos to test them out and they worked great. I have only used them on water based poly thus far and the finish product was very nice , my wife commented on the quality of the finish also.
