Kreg® 6mm Loose Tenons provide a precise fit for loose tenon joinery in furniture, cabinetry and general woodworking projects. Made from solid hardwood, these pre-cut tenons are sized specifically for 6 mm mortises cut with the Kreg Edge Loose Tenon Joiner, MortiseMate and Festool Domino Joiner systems, helping create strong, accurately aligned joints every time.
The hardwood construction delivers strength and stability while fluted sides improve glue distribution throughout the joint. Each tenon is manufactured approximately 1/16" shorter than its nominal length to provide space for glue inside the mortise, reducing hydraulic pressure during assembly and promoting a better fit.
A reusable resealable container helps reduce expansion and shrinkage caused by changes in humidity, keeping tenons ready for consistent joinery performance. The package includes 75 pre-cut tenons, providing ample supply for project work and production runs.
