Kreg® 5mm Loose Tenons provide a strong, accurate connection point for loose tenon joinery in furniture, cabinetry and general woodworking projects. Milled from solid hardwood, these pre-cut tenons are sized specifically for 5 mm mortises created with the Kreg Edge Loose Tenon Joiner, MortiseMate and Festool Domino systems, helping ensure a consistent fit across every joint.
Each tenon features fluted sides that improve glue distribution throughout the joint while allowing excess adhesive room to escape during assembly. The tenons are manufactured approximately 1/16" shorter than their nominal length, creating space for glue without affecting alignment or strength.
Made from all-natural hardwood, these loose tenons deliver the strength and stability needed for durable joinery. The included resealable storage container helps reduce expansion and shrinkage caused by changes in humidity, keeping tenons ready for accurate assembly when needed.
