The Kreg® 20V Ionic Drive™ 2-1/4 HP Plunge Router Kit delivers cordless routing performance with the control and adjustment woodworkers expect in a router table setup. Built around Kreg’s Ionic Drive system, this router removes the limitations of a cord while maintaining the power needed for shaping, trimming and edge work.
A brushless motor produces 2-1/4 HP with a variable speed range from 11,000 to 23,000 RPM, giving you control across different router bits and materials. Above-table bit height adjustment is built into the design, allowing precise changes without removing the router from a table. This reduces interruption during setup and keeps workflow consistent when making repeated adjustments. The 2-5/8" plunge depth supports deeper cuts in a single pass, helping maintain accuracy without constant repositioning. Three turret depth stops provide repeatable settings that stay consistent across multiple cuts.
The included battery system supports cordless operation without sacrificing output. This allows greater freedom of movement around large workpieces and eliminates cord interference during routing. Two base plates support both standard routing and template work, extending the range of applications handled by a single tool.
