Kakuri Moulding Planes have a high carbon steel blade tempered to Rockwell hardness 60-63 which can be sharpened many times or replaced if damaged. The bodies are made from Japanese white oak. The blade and body of the Radius plane have 1/8˝ and 1/4˝ wide grooves to round over edges up to 1/8˝ and up to 1/4˝ in width.
