The JET 13" Benchtop 3-Knife Planer (JWP-13BTK) delivers strong stock removal capacity, repeatable thicknessing and benchtop portability in a compact footprint. This wood planer combines a 2 HP motor with a three-knife cutterhead to produce smooth surfaces while maintaining the capacity needed for boards up to 13" wide.
A cutterhead speed of 9,500 RPM and feed rate of 24.6 FPM support efficient material removal across hardwoods and softwoods. The precision-ground steel knives are designed to produce consistent results while reducing the number of passes required to reach final thickness. Four-post construction stabilizes cutterhead movement throughout the cutting cycle, helping maintain accuracy from edge to edge.
Folding infeed and outfeed tables provide added support for longer material while conserving space when stored. A preset depth stop allows repeatable thickness settings for production work, and the dust collection port accepts both 2-1/2" and 4" dust collection hoses. Vertical storage capability and one-person portability make this planer easy to move and store between projects.
