Works great for making circle jigs
This is a pretty slick design for routing circular holes over a wide range of diameters. Easy to use. To ensure precision, maximum easy of use, and to minimize wear and tear on this precision jig, I use this tool only for making a hole of the desired diameter in a piece of 1/4" MDF. I can then use the MDF sheet as a template to make as many holes of this diameter as I need, with a template / flush trim bit.

Not made to last
Bought this on 04/08/2015 and used it the first time about 6 weeks later on a brand new Dewalt DWP611PK compact router. I was making a 2 3/4" circle in 3/4" thick poplar using a new Whiteside 1/4" up cut spiral bit , I made 3 cuts 1/4" deep and on the last cut about halfway thru the base cracked at the screw mounting hole and I had been very careful to not over tighten the screws. Also the sides of the cuts were rough due I think to the Pin moving in the base plate so the cut had several divots around the cut. I just ordered another one because I really like the design and amount of different size cuts that should be possible with this tool and I have a lot of projects that I could use it on. If the new one breaks too I won't buy another one or probably any other Jasper product in the future. Maybe if they would just make it out of aluminum or some other metal it would be a stronger and longer lasting tool. So for now I would Not recommend this but we will see what happens with the new one.

Easy to break otherwise good
This jig will break at screw bosses with repeated use. Use extreme caution tightening screws. Not built to last.
