Iwasaki files are renowned for their durability and cutting ability. The teeth are sharp and designed to be self-cleaning but clean easily with any stiff bristle brush. This file is 8" long with a 2-1/2"-long x 3/8"-wide flat cutting surface and cuts on the push stroke. The teeth are very sharp and require only the lightest touch to work. Like all Iwasaki files, this one produces tiny shavings, leaving a very smooth surface. The offset handle provides clearance for your hand when working in tight spaces.
- 8" overall length
- 4" cutter length
- 3/8"-wide cutter width
- Cuts on push strike

Too Course
I'm in complete agreement with the review above. The tool is a good idea, but it is nearly impossible to push over a wood surface with the course teeth.

Good idea but teeth too coarse.
In concept this is a good idea. Unfortunately the teeth are too course and it is very difficult to push and cut at the same time. Extra fine cut and/or cut on the pull stroke would improve this tool.
