These oil-based Gel Topcoats and Stains are quite possibly the easiest of all finishes to use and achieve a "hand-rubbed" look without all the work. Application is easy with a foam brush or lint free cloth. The heavy bodied gel formulation permits the product to flow out evenly (no drips or runs) preventing uneven penetration for consistent color control. Gel Topcoat may be used to top coat any stain. Although Gel Stains contain urethane, Gel Topcoat has a higher content of urethane and may be used to top coat Gel Stains for more protection. Gel Topcoat is available in satin. For semi-gloss or gloss sheens, use Arm-R-Seal Topcoat.

  • Pleasant odor
  • Water, alcohol and heat resistant
  • Will never chip, crack or peel.
  • Non-toxic after drying
  • Stains are compatible with other topcoats

    Love this stuff

Easy to use, odor isn't too bad. Love the wipe on, wipe off ability - no brush marks or sanding to worry about

    No sanding between coats!

I apply to each Intarsia piece (before they are glued together) using a clean rag, wipe off with Bounty paper towel (leaves no lint) using a clean towel frequently. Let dry for 24 hours, glue my pieces together and when glue is totally dry, I add several more coats, wiping and buffing with paper towel. NO SANDING BETWEEN COATS!

    Foolproof, predictable, re-coatable

This is an excellent, easy to apply, self leveling product, when applied with a pad there are no brush marks, and the final finish needs no rubbing out.Durable- re-coatable, light "straw" like color, similar to a solvent lacquer. Low odor, dries predictably...a GREAT product for the Pro and novice alike.
