The Flexcut FR307 is a fixed handle palm tool with a 70° V shape and is 1/4" wide (6mm) suited to smaller projects (and precision work) as to roughing out blanks, This 5" tool fit comfortably in the palm of your hand. Flexcut blades, as the name implies, are flexible to give you more control over your cuts. Made of high carbon spring steel, the tool shank gives just enough to follow the contour of your carving project. This unique material also contributes to its excellent edge holding capability as the shank is tempered like a spring while the tip is hardened to Rc 59-61, then hand honed and polished. The wide variety of shapes it can attain makes this such a diverse tool. When the contour of the surface changes, the angle of the handle remains almost the same, while the blade changes angles. The handles are ergonomically designed to increase the comfort and ease of use. Each tool is pre-sharpened and ready to use.
