About This Product

The Festool RTS 400 REQ-Plus Orbital Sander and CT MIDI I HEPA Dust Extractor Bundle with Abrasives and Filter Bags combines fine finish sanding with portable dust extraction, 100 Granat abrasives and five replacement filter bags. The compact RTS 400 uses a 250-watt motor and short 5/64" (2 mm) sanding stroke to produce a fine surface finish on flat, vertical and overhead surfaces.
At 2.4 lb., the RTS 400 reduces fatigue during vertical and overhead sanding. Stepless variable speed from 6,000-14,000 OPM adjusts sanding action to the workpiece, while vibration-stop balancing reduces vibration during operation. A quick-change 27 mm dust port provides a secure connection to compatible dust extraction equipment.
The CT MIDI I delivers up to 130 CFM airflow in a compact 4-gallon format. Five suction levels adjust extraction to the application, while manual filter cleaning helps maintain suction as the filter bag fills. Integrated Bluetooth® supports automatic startup with compatible Festool battery packs or an optional remote. The built-in electrical outlet provides automatic startup when using a connected corded tool.
The included Systainer® Abrasive Set provides 100 Granat 80 x 133 mm abrasives in five grits from P60 through P220. Five additional SELFCLEAN filter bags resist dust caking between extraction cycles to support sustained suction and maximize usable bag capacity.
