The Festool Rotex RO 90 DX FEQ-Plus Sander and CT 36 EI HEPA Dust Extractor Bundle with Abrasives and Filter Bags pairs a compact multi-mode sander with greater dust collection capacity for surface preparation, finish sanding and detail work. Three sanding modes and interchangeable round and delta pads let the RO 90 DX move from open surfaces to edges and corners without adding another sander to the workflow.
The 400-watt motor drives the 3-1/2" (90 mm) round pad through a 1/8" sanding stroke. Gear-driven action handles more aggressive material removal, while random orbit mode provides the sanding action needed for smoother surface finishing. Switch to the included V93 delta pad without tools when the work moves into corners or confined areas.
Rotary speed ranges from 260-520 RPM, while eccentric motion ranges from 3,500-7,000 RPM. The sander weighs 3.3 lb. for control as sanding position and pad shape change, and the 27 mm extraction port connects directly to compatible Festool dust extraction.
The CT 36 EI provides up to 138 CFM airflow and a 9.5-gallon container, increasing collection capacity for longer sanding sessions. Integrated Bluetooth® supports automatic startup with compatible Festool cordless tools or an optional remote. A smooth anti-static suction hose provides the connection between the tool and extractor.
The included abrasive set adds 160 Granat abrasives divided between D90 round and V93 delta formats. P60, P80, P120 and P180 grits provide matching abrasive progressions for both pad shapes. Five additional CT 36 SELFCLEAN filter bags resist dust caking to help maintain suction as each bag fills.
