The Festool Rotex RO 90 DX FEQ-Plus Sander and CT 26 EI HEPA Dust Extractor Bundle with Abrasives and Filter Bags creates a versatile sanding system for material removal, finish sanding and detail work. The RO 90 DX switches among gear-driven, random orbit and delta sanding modes, giving one compact tool the ability to move from larger surface work into corners and tight areas.
A 400-watt motor powers the 3-1/2" (90 mm) round sanding pad through a 1/8" stroke. Gear-driven mode increases material removal for stripping coatings and working rough surfaces, while random orbit mode provides a smoother sanding action for surface finishing. Switch to the included V93 delta pad without tools to reach corners, edges and confined areas that a round sanding pad cannot access.
At 3.3 lb., the sander stays manageable as the work position changes. Rotary speed ranges from 260-520 RPM, while eccentric motion ranges from 3,500-7,000 RPM. The 27 mm dust extraction port connects the sander to the CT 26 EI for dust collection directly at the tool.
The CT 26 EI delivers up to 138 CFM airflow with a 6.9-gallon container. Integrated Bluetooth® supports automatic startup with compatible Festool cordless tools or an optional remote. The bundle also adds 160 Granat abrasives split between round D90 and triangular V93 formats, providing P60 through P180 grits for both pad shapes. Five additional SELFCLEAN filter bags resist dust caking to help maintain suction as each bag fills.
