The Festool Light Module LM-RTS (578836) improves sanding visibility by directing focused LED illumination exactly where the abrasive meets the workpiece. Compatible with the RTSC 400, RTS 400 REQ, ETSC 125 and ETS 125 REQ models from 2017 onward, it helps reveal surface imperfections, scratches and uneven areas during sanding, reducing the chance of missed defects before finishing.
Positioned at the front of the sander, the light makes surface inspection part of the sanding process instead of a separate step. Two brightness settings allow the light output to match changing jobsite and shop conditions while reducing glare. Automatic vibration detection switches the light on when sanding begins and off when sanding stops, providing hands-free operation without adding controls to the tool.
