How well does the Conturo apply edge banding compared to a stationary edge bander?
The CONTURO KA 65 delivers professional‑quality edge banding, but it is slower and more manual than a stationary edge bander. It’s best for small runs, custom work, curves, and job‑site or shop flexibility, not high‑volume production.
What types and thicknesses of edge banding can it apply?
It applies wood, PVC/ABS, melamine, and laminate edge banding from 0.5–3.0 mm thick and 18–65 mm tall, using EVA or optional PU adhesive. It works on straight edges, curves, and angles up to 47°.

About This Product
With the CONTURO Edge Bander, it’s just as easy to apply edge banding on the job site as it is in the shop. Even if you have a large stationary edge-banding machine, the CONTURO can complement your edge-banding process by giving you a way to work with radii, circular pieces, bevels and small pieces. The CONTURO offers exceptional ergonomic design, dual speeds and a unique patented hotmelt glue-adhesive system. There’s no risk of burns because the glue system is thermally isolated. Ditch the iron or hot-air gun to gain the benefits of a dedicated edge-banding machine without the cost associated with stationary equipment.
