The Festool DOMINO XL DF 700 EQ-Set Joiner and CT MIDI I HEPA Dust Extractor Bundle with Beech DOMINO Assortment and Filter Bags combines large-format mortise-and-tenon joinery with compact dust extraction for easier movement around the shop or job site. Routing depths from 15-70 mm and cutter compatibility through 14 mm give the DF 700 the capacity to join substantial components, while repeatable indexing reduces layout work across matching parts.
The 720-watt motor operates at 21,000 RPM, using simultaneous rotary and oscillating cutter movement to cut mortises without kickback. Fence height positions at 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 and 40 mm help locate mortises across different material thicknesses. Six retractable stop pins provide repeatable positioning between mating workpieces.
Two mortise-width settings allow adjustment for joint fit and assembly. The DF 700 accepts 8 mm, 10 mm, 12 mm and 14 mm cutters, with a 12 mm cutter included. Its 1-1/16" dust extraction port connects directly to the CT MIDI I to remove chips at the cutter.
The CT MIDI I delivers up to 130 CFM airflow in a compact 4-gallon format. Five suction levels adjust extraction to the application, while manual filter cleaning helps maintain suction as the filter bag fills. The bundle also includes 128 D12/D14 beech DOMINOs for larger joints plus five additional SELFCLEAN filter bags.
