The Festool DOMINO DF 500 RQ-Set Joiner and CT 36 EI HEPA Dust Extractor Bundle with DOMINO Assortment and Filter Bags combines repeatable mortise cutting with increased dust collection capacity and an extensive supply of cutters and beech tenons. Pendulum-milling action creates consistent mortises that resist twisting, while the included stops support accurate positioning across repeated joints.
A 420-watt motor drives the cutter at 25,500 RPM. Five preset milling depths correspond to multiple DOMINO tenon sizes, while cutter compatibility from 0.16" to 0.39" lets the joiner move between smaller components and larger frame construction. Integrated stop pins support consistent spacing when cutting a series of mortises.
The included trim stop, support bracket and cross stop expand positioning options for the DF 500. Connect its 1-1/16" extraction port to the CT 36 EI to remove chips at the cutter. The extractor provides up to 138 CFM airflow with a 9.5-gallon container for greater collection capacity between emptying.
The included assortment adds 4 mm, 5 mm, 6 mm, 8 mm and 10 mm cutters plus 1,060 solid beech DOMINO tenons. Six tenon sizes cover a range of joint dimensions, and three removable containers with adjustable compartments keep the assortment separated inside the Systainer³. Five additional CT 36 SELFCLEAN filter bags resist dust caking to help maintain suction as each bag fills.
