The Corradi Equaling Needle Rasp is designed for shaping, refining and finishing small surfaces in wood, wax and plastics. Its slim equaling profile provides four working faces, offering greater contact with the workpiece while maintaining control during detailed shaping tasks.
An equaling rasp features a rectangular profile with parallel sides and consistent thickness, with teeth on all four faces. This design provides multiple cutting surfaces and helps maintain consistent contact during shaping and finishing operations.
Manufactured from a special alloy steel produced exclusively for Corradi, this wood rasp is hardened to more than 60 HRC for extended edge life and effective performance on hardwoods. The 6.3" (160 mm) length and 2-tooth cut pattern deliver a balanced rate of material removal that supports both shaping and surface refinement. The round shank can be used with or without a handle, making it well suited for detailed work in the shop or at the bench. As part of a professional collection of files and rasps, it offers precise control in confined areas and on small workpieces.
