Orange Chrome™ coating promotes longer tool life by protecting it from corrosion and accumulating resin and residues. Laser cut expansion slots allow for blade expansion when heat builds up. Resin filled sound dampening channels reduce running noise and control wobbling from harmonic vibrations. In an automatic brazing process, a silver-copper-silver sandwich brazing compound is used to attach carbide to the blade. The copper center protects the carbide tips and steel shoulders by adding flexibility and impact resistance when cutting through more problematic substances or knots in the wood.
