What a waste of $22.00
I'm a newly woodworker with little experience. I went to my local Woodcraft to select a wax for a new raw edge walnut end table I built. The sales person recommended this product. I guess it's my own lack of knowledge, but I would have thought "wax", would help protect the wood from water damage and other substances. Not so. After 3 coats, just getting water near the table leaves a water mark. If it doesn't add protection, what's the point?

Shiny and slick
Just tried this out on a table top that was finished with Formby's Tung Oil finish. This product made a nice finish even better. Light coats work best. Product dries quickly and buffs out to a great shine that is smooth and silky to the touch.

haven't used it yet
need to add in discription that it is a hazardous material and not for use with skin contact
-
not as good
I used this product before and it gave a HARD shine. Now it is more like any other wax you can get anywhere.

Excellent Wax
Made the table top look new

Does a great job
A little goes a long way. I was hoping that I'd get a little more shine after applying. You end up with a satin finish which is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars.

Great old time standard
One of the best waxes around.

Everything they said it was and more.
I make Custom Game Calls, and wanted to try the Wax, it is everything they said it would be. Works very well and is easy to use. It definately adds to the over-all Finish on the Calls. It gives them a very Professional Finish look, as well as adding to the protection of the wood the call is made from.

Perfect product for refinishing old wood products.

Fabulous product..briwax
I purchased a dining room table from a famous furniture store that was gorgeous but that I feared didn't have adequate sealer to protect it from spills that my grandchildren might make. This product definitely put that protective coat on my table. Also used it on an antique desk. [...]

high expectations
i purchased Briwax for my primitive antiques- some of which have nice old paint that started to look 'chalky' so i wanted to clean and bring back to life. Briwax required a lot of applying to the same small area in order to cover and it dried so quickly i could hardly tell where i'd covered or left off. after i buffed the final coat i could see a slight improvement. i was hoping for more bang for the buck but perhaps it requires more applications. i'll keep using it as it does state that it gets better as it builds coats. fingers crossed!

Love this stuff!!!
I love this wax. It's great over finishes, or as a finish on it's own. I have even used it successfully on metal.
