After a little research I took the leap and tried this system. I had some PC bushings and inlay kit and was scratching my head on how to use them with my new Bosch router. This is the ticket. Well thought out and sturdy this is a great system. Using the 1100 PC adaptor let us figure out the base was off by a hundredth or so and got it dead on. Bushing really spring in and out and we keep the brass inlay guide screwed into the PC adaptor for inlay work and pop bushings in and out as needed. Lots of fun and sturdy. Really glad I tried something new.

Works as advertised, just as sturdy as what comes standard on Bosch Routers. It should have been offered with the Colt Plunge base when I ordered it. I had to dig into the manual to find what the part number was and do some research to make sure it was what I was looking for. One thing I found out was the base was not centered on the plunge unit . This add on will let you center the base when you use a straight bit or dowel pin to fit in the 1/4" bushing.
I have only checked the fit in the router base - haven't had a chance to actually use it yet. It fits. It is a good addition to your tool chest if you have a Bosch router. I also bought the Router Base Plate with Centering Pin by Jasper and it arrived first so that is on my Bosch Router at the moment.

Why does Bosch have to do it different? Their router is great, but for the need to get this part plus another part to get standard template guides to work. If they insist on reinventing the wheel then they should include the necessary adapters with all their router packages. I would gladly pay a few bucks extra for including the adapters vs. figuring out what you need and then ordering separate. Other than this the router is great. Bosch needs an occasional reminder of the KISS Principle (Keep It Stupid Simple).
