Great final finish product
I have been using this rubbing compound for several years to obtain a smooth mirror like final finish on wooden clocks and furniture. Requires a lot of patience and effort to get quality results but it is well worth it. It has become hard to find it in most general hardware or home improvement stores so I have had to purchase it from specialty woodworking suppliers. When I ask for pumice stone is those other stores they look puzzled and then hand me some kind of solid brick pumice used as a household cleaning tool.
