  Designed by a turner, for turners, Beall Buffs are made from fewer plies of material so they're softer and easier to conform to the contour's of your turnings. Offered in three different materials, each designed specifically for buffing either with tripoli compound (all linen,) white diamond polish (combined linen and cotton,) or carnauba wax (soft all cotton flannel). Available in a 3" kit containing one each of the three different buffs.

  Lets you run the three buffs you need to put a final high gloss finish on your project at one time! One end of the 17" mandrel is machined to a #2 Morse Taper to fit in the head stock of your lathe, the other end is machined to accept the tail stock. Now you can quickly and efficiently take small items through all three steps of buffing to a final high gloss without stopping to change buffs. Kit contains the mandrel with spacers, three buffs (8" to 9" Dia.), Tripoli and white diamond compounds and carnauba wax.

  Give your next small project a spectacular finish quickly and easily with this set of three 8" diameter buffs, compounds and a quick-change adapter. Whether you're polishing an oil finish on a box, buffing the scratches out of a turned bowl or platter, or finishing pen blanks, this system will leave a glass smooth surface on whatever you hold to it. The secret to the system is that the dozens of soft cloth layers apply compound evenly without rounding over sharp features and edges. The wheel actually splays out slightly to conform to the shape being buffed. The all-flannel tripoli buff will level out the finish and remove any scratches. The flannel/cotton mix white diamond buff takes out any remaining small scratches and begins to polish. The all-cotton carnauba wax buff yields a high gloss polish similar to a lacquer finish.

  Changing buffs takes seconds with the quick-change adapter. It adjusts to fit 1/2" or 5/8" motor arbor shafts (1/2 HP or larger, 1725 RPM motor recommended). The optional #2 Morse taper mandrel enables you to use the buffs on the lathe (you'll have to make a 1/4"-20 drawbar to hold it in place)The compounds will last for years when used moderately. Not for use in a hand-held drill. System includes: 3 buffs, quick-change adapter, 3 compounds and complete instructions.
