    Very useful

I recently upgraded my lathe from a very old one with a 3/4 inch spindle, to a new one with a 1 inch spindle. Instead of ordering a bunch of faceplates in the new size, I ordered to spindle tap to make my own. I have found that I use it several times a week to make threaded glue blocks, jam chucks and friction chucks. I even used it to make a 12" sanding disc. The quality of this product is outstanding. I can see this being an integral part of my turning for years to come.

    Great tool

Great tool that saves money on specialty face plates and enables you to make unique things like vacuum chucks. I only wish there were better instructions included. Fortunately, I had a magazine that showed the proper techniques. It would have also helped if there was an optional handle available.
