    Great looking, not smooth.

I'd become interested in the long blank, single-tube pens. The wall street series just didn't do it for me, so I grabbed the atlas. I really love the atlas, every other finish of this pen is easy to turn, assemble, and just otherwise make a great looking pen. However, the black titanium finish seems to grind when working the mechanism, almost like there is debris in the machine. If you pull up on the cap to disengage it from the shoulder on the clip holder everything is fine.
