The Eclipse 9" Plain Screw Woodworking vise features a plain screw mechanism that works through a separate strong and durable nut housed beneath the body seating, to ensure the constant alignment of the screw mechanism. Precision machined grey cast iron body and front to ensure a smooth, parallel action. Fitted with an adjustable front stop that gives an additional clamping facility when used with a bench stop, to provide a normal vise and a tail vise in one tool. To increase safety, the fused tommy bar will bend before the vise can become over-stressed. Up to 4100 lbf. clamping force is achievable and is ideal for holding large pieces of wood for cutting and gluing. Jaw Width: 9". Throat Depth: 4". Jaw Opening: 10"
