Azibiki Saws are used to cut mortises, grooves in mid-panel and sliding dovetails. The smaller sizes are essential for making Saya, wooden scabbards for swords and knives. These saws are also exceedingly useful for working into restricted areas without damaging adjacent work. Azibiki saws have crosscut teeth on one side and rip teeth on the other and come with a rattan wrapped wooden handle.
