    Finally fits both ends

    I needed to go from my 4" dust port on a Grizzly Bandsaw to my Shop-Vac with 2 1/2" hose. This fits the Grizzly port perfectly and fits the Shop-Vac well enough that I don't need to use tape or anything else to keep it in place. The hose fits the Shop-Vac well enough that it will stay in place horizontally without any concern. I don't think it would stay in place on an angled dust port, but for my horizontal one, I'd buy it again. Not perfect, but very good.

    Shop Vac to Cabinet Tool

    This is what I needed to take my shop vac hose to both my cabinet saw (Grizzly) and to my Delta Plainer dust collector (Delta 50-446). The Hose from the Shop vac fits INSIDE the small end like any shop vac accessory head. The larger end is intended to fit over tool dust ports. The design also allows for "dust collection" hoses to fit over the small end (which are larger than my shop vac hose). Because of the taper on the small end being out to fit the larger hose (not inward like my shop vac accessories) the fit is a little loose, but usable. This is what I needed to do a quick collection to my tools using my shop vac.

    Finally. One that fits.

    I finally found the dust collection fitting that works. This is the one you need if you are looking for a reducer to fit the 4 inch OD dust collection port on the back of your bandsaw to connect to the 2 1/2 inch hose on your shopvac.

    Great Fit, Finally!

    I have a Dust Right Dust Separator connected to my 16 gal Ridgid shop vac and have played heck connecting the hose (2 1/2") to the 4" ports on many of my woodworking tools such as the Grizzly 6" Jointer and Ridgid 4512 Table Saw. All of the connections I have purchased to date to easily connect those items to my vac setup have not been successful. I know that sounds dumb, but it's true. Until now. The quick connect fits just right on both the 4" Jointer and Table Saw saw as it does with the hose end. Finally.

    It works

    Allowed me to connect my Shop Vac to my Ridgid r4512 table saw with no noticeable leaks and nothing else needed. I'm amazed at all the reviews, even on this site, of people attempting this with other adapters yet, at the time of this writing, this is the only review of one that actually works? Hope it's helpful.
