Festool dust collection makes fast work of cleanup and can achieve virtually dust free sawing and sanding. There is a Festool dust extractor for every job whether you’re in your home workshop or out on a job site.
Learn how to make a glue joint using the Festool TS 60 Plunge Cut Saw. We'll cover basic set up of the saw and how to make your cuts to get a better finished edge.
In this class, you'll learn to make stile and rail cabinet doors. Students will take home their completed doors. As in most cabinet making, the table saw and router table are the main tools used for door construction. Each student is responsible for supplying their own tape measure, steel rule, adjustable square, pencils or other marking device, notebook, safety glasses and hearing protection.
Photo memories are a great way to share special family events. Why not showcase them around your home in a picture frame you made? Join us for a day in the workshop and learn how to safely and creatively, design and build an 8" x 11" picture frame. After this class you will be able to create and build a variety of picture frames at home for your other photo memories. Each student is responsible for supplying their own safety glasses, hearing protection, dust mask, pencil, notebook, and tape measure. No open toed shoes will be allowed.
This is one of our more advanced bowl turning classes. We will discuss, in detail, how to harvest your own wood along with best practices in logging, storing and understanding where the bowl and platter blanks are in the log. You will learn advanced tool techniques, how to keep the bark on the blank using CA adhesives, elements of design, form and function and different bowl mounting techniques. You will also learn how to keeping the wings of the bowl the same thickness and how to keep the wings aligned with each other. Each student is responsible for supplying their own eye protection, dust mask, face shield, notebook, 1/2in and 3/8in bowl gouge, round scraper, parting tool.
