Intro to Woodworking

Want to get started in woodworking, but do not have someone to show you how, or the chance to try? We will cover woodworking safety; wood as a material; measuring and marking; using and selecting tools for sawing, boring and abrading wood, including hand tools, track saws, table saws, miter saw, band saw, drills, and routers. Each student will get hands on time with tools and should feel confident to start woodworking at home. Students get to go home with a competed project.
