Join master craftsman and book author, Albert Kleine, for this introductory course in marquetry, the practice of inlaying wood veneers to create images. It emphasizes traditional double-bevel methods using only hand tools. The first session covers theory and process, including geometry, tools, and sawing technique. By the end, you’ll be able to inlay veneer into a backer – foundational for marquetry. In the second session, you’ll apply your skills to create a simple leaf design.
