A woodworking twist to the classic yule tide poem…
Twas
the night before Christmas, when all through the
woodshop
Not a creature was
stirring, not even the bench dog
stops.
The tools were all put away in their cabinets with
care,
there.
The woodworker was nestled all snug in his
bed,
While visions of new projects danced in his
head.
And mamma in her kitchen, and new tools in my
lap,
Had just settled in with our gifts from
Woodcraft.
When out in the shop, the tools were a
clatter,
I sprang from the bed to see what was the
matter.
Away to the Woodshop
I flew with a
gust,
I opened the door and raised some
sawdust.
When, what to my wondering eyes would appear,
But my favorite woodworkers using plans
to make new projects to
share.
With Scott Phillips of The American Woodshop using
the new Kreg ToolBoxx Screw
Kit,
his cabinets would be done,
lickety-split.
Rob Cosman was teaching with a NEW WoodRiver
Plane, sharpening and honing with the Angle Saw

Then picking up his Dovetail Bone Resin
Saw
and teaching online workshops with students in

with an Oneida Dust Deputy II,
where the Festool Dust Filter
lies.
So back to the house the family they
flew,With a handful of finished projects and Dad the woodworker
too!
I drew in my head, and was turning
around,
he got into his truck, and headed for
town.
For it was our Woodcraft Santa,
with an empty red sack.
As he left one last gift,
the 6-Shelf Wood Rack!
He gave a salute and with a twist of his head,
Soon gave me to know I had nothing to dread.
I heard him exclaim, ‘ere he drove out of sight,
Gave the “Tool Man” simian grunt, arr, arr, arr!
“Happy Woodworking Christmas to all, and to all… a Good-Night!”
