Ed Thiessen, a woodworker from Las Vegas stopped by to visit with Rob, and purchased a WoodRiver #6 Bench Hand Plane, V3, Item #150876.
Ed is cabinetmaker, but spends a lot of his time as a toymaker for Toys 4 Smiles, a nonprofit organization, crafting wooden cars and trucks from donated wood. The company gives the toys away to needy children in the Las Vegas area. We’ll have more about Ed and this charity in an upcoming blog.
