On the premiere of Rough Cut Season 3, Tommy Mac creates a beautiful ambrosia maple Coopered Leg Table inspired by Seguin Moreau Cooperage in Napa Valley California.
Tommy learns of the wine-barrel making process during his trip to the Cooperage where they make wine barrels from the finest Oak wood which comes from Europe, France, Russia and America. Each barrel has it’s own unique toast which comes from the staving, heating and building process.
With that in mind, Tommy returns to the Rough Cut shop to build the ambrosia table using the techniques of coopering and staving learned during the Cooperage tour. Check out the entire 30 minute episode, right here:
