Overall a fairly decent plan, but fatal math error
If you use the 5 degree angle specified by the plan, the height of the points should be 7.1degrees, not 6.5 degrees as written. You can alternate the cut points appropriately to prevent gaps but then there's a noticeable offset from one side of the board to the other. I ended up having to recut the veneer (expensive rework) to get it to look right.
