Perfect dados every time.
An absolute must for working with plywood.
Very high quality
These bits are great for routing dado, groves, and rabbits. They cut smoothly and effortlessly and hold their hone very well. I have not found the need to sharpen any of the bits yet. One thing to remember is to co-ordinate the actual thickness of the plywood with the diameter of the bit. (Don't assume that the slot/rabbit will be the right size). I have made that mistake too often. A problem I ran into was that the bit(s) are rather long. In the Porter Cable 690LR the bit sticks out too far and does not allow good engagement of the "ring". I beleve that the bits will work well in plunge routers which generally have a longer throw. These bits are a tremendous bargain even at the regular price. I just ordered my third set.
Need set for shringing plywood
These bits are needed to perfect dadoes with todays undersize plywood. N question.
Great bits very clean cuts easy to use
I try to buy quality for my wood working Whitedside is the deal
Saves time cutting dados.
I was able to cut a plywood width dado in one pass, instead of two, as when using smaller bits.
Bought to rout dados for a table. Bits held up well in oak and I found them to create the exact size to receive plywood.
Excellent for plywood cabinets
They do it than others do for more $$$
Only my router handling skills is the limit, these bit does that other dadoes tools do for much money. Terrific doing dadoes on large panels!
Needed it before I thought I would.
I was making serving trays as Christmas gifts. The smallest router bit in the set of three worked as I had hoped to create slots to receive the four frame pieces. It ended the frustration of slots too large to meet needs. If you don't own them--Get'em!
excellent set for specific use
I guess we have the plywood industry to thank for this need. I do not understand why plywood needed to move to undersize as both unfinished and finished lumber has done.
Great buy,Whiteside bits are Great
