Red mahogany is not what I got
I followed instructions precisely, and used it on maple, a very common hard wood for quality cabinets, and purchased a red mahogany dye to finish the color. Well what I received is a bold purple heart color, no confusion with red by any means. Distinctly, purple. Not happy with purple.

Transtint Dye
A little goes along way with transtint - I use it in small amounts and large - I like it better than using Analine dyes.
