It's Only OK
This particular item from Woodcraft has both a 1" X 8 TPI Left-hand and right-hand internal thread to attach to both ends of my lathe spindle. The first one did not thread cleanly onto my spindle. I purchased a second one, and it was just like the first. I wound up chasing the RH threads with a 1" X 8 TPI threading tap, and it worked OK after that. TeknaTool does offer a RH-thread only adapter, but Woodcraft apparently does not carry it. I have said I would recommend to a friend, but only because there were no alternatives to adapt the SuperNova chuck to my lathe. This should not be an extra-cost item, but should have been included with the chuck.

What was needed..why not included?
Item was needed to be able to use Nova Chuck..should have been advertised with the item as needed for lathes with a 1" 8TPI.

Tool Works Fine, Price TOO HIGH
The tool works fine, its just a nut, but a very expensive nut. Along with the shipping it was way too costly.
