Heavy 12-gauge steel plates run smoothly on a full ball-bearing race. Mounting slots on corners (5-1/4" center-to-center) accept round head screws or bolts.

    Flat Swivel for chairs

    A little stiff while new, but after several days of use, will loosen. Easy to install - Keep out of weather - the roller balls will rust Heavy-duty enough for chairs -

    Perfect for Heywood-Wakefield rev. tops

    Like the original swivel it replaced, this has the word Chicago as part of the company name stamped on it, so I'm certain it is by the successor company. Slotted design means there are no holes to drill, important in repairing collectable furniture. As others have mentioned, the product is initially "stiff" which can lead to the need for work-arounds during installation, but the bottom line is that this is a top-quality product from another era and we are lucky to still have it available.

    Perfect fit

    I acquired an ooooold papasan chair with a swivel built into its base. The swivel, by design, had a grand total of 6 balls in it. Your replacement was an exact fit, no holes to drill, and much sturdier than the original. All that and a great price as well. Thanks!

    does what it's suppose to do beautifully

    I purchased this to be used as a T.V. swivel stand. The product works great. At first I thought that the swivel was too tight. But after 1st use it loosened up just enough to work perfectly.

    Heavy Duty

    Did not suit my purpose (didn't turn freely enough) and had to return it, but would certainly consider this part for different applications. Very sturdy.

    Barstool swivel

    Very heavy duty as described. I used it to replace a worn out bar stool swivel. This is better than the original. It came very stiff but I am certain will loosen up with use. Instruction also tells you what to do if it is too stiff.

    Exactly what I wanted/needed!

    This is a high quality, sturdy swivel installed to replace one on an antique rotating coffee table. Amazingly, the screw holes matched perfectly with what was there. Super easy installation. Swivel is smooth with the right level of stiffness. I couldn't be happier.
