Ukuleles originated in the 19th century as a Hawaiian adaptation of the machete, which was introduced to the island by Portuguese immigrants. Today the ukulele is hugely popular around the world for its relative simplicity and enchanting sound. This kit is a great place for the novice luthier to start.

Detailed instructions guide you step-by-step through the build, from start to finish, and the high quality mahogany laminates for the back and sides reduce spring back and greatly aid stability.
