This process is accomplished with the Easy Wood Tools® Pro Easy Hollower No. 2. The No. 2 has Maple hardwood easy grip handles, a 1"-wide stainless tool post, and a Ci3 standard cutter that provides superior controlled cuts and clean finishes. This versatile tool is great for small hollow-form boxes, but be sure to try it to undercut the rim on your bowls.
