Most efficient and durable hand sanding block on the market
I've been using these for a number of years, and I use them a lot. The stainless steel lever locks make them easy to load, and they facilitate a tight grip on the sandpaper. The rubber bases are perfectly flat and show no wear whatsoever after long use. Tapered ends make it possible to get into corners well. The shape of the body makes them comfortable to use. I honestly don't know how they could be made better.

Why stop with one
I liked the first one so much I bought a second. I keep 120 on one and 220 on the other and use them for those touch ups where hand sanding works best. I frequently clamp them upside down in my bench vise and use them to hand sand small pieces. Great tool.

super tool!
Works well on dresser-size projects with large areas to sand. Tool design allows sanding in corners. Nicest sanding block on the market!

Every shop should have one
A well designed, easy to use tool that is priced right. A must for any woodworker.
-
Good sanding block for dry sanding.
The rubber backing significantly expands and eventually detaches when used for more than occasional wet sanding (at least with mineral spirits). Other places do sell replacement pads (rolls).

Highly recommend
I have tried many different blocks both store boought and home made. So far I like this best and I think it si worth the price

Almost makes sanding pleasurable!
The sander is easy to load and extremely comfortable to hold. I am only sorry that I didn't buy one earlier.

Great Product
I was very aprehensive at the price, but after loading paper in it, using it, and putting it in my shop apron pocket, I am very pleased. Don't let the price scare you, this will be a great addition to my work shop, and should be around for a long time.

Last Sanding Block You'll Buy
These things were developed for use in auto body shops. They will last forever in a wood shop. Get over the price! I bought mine one at a time. They are great. The last sanding blocks you'll ever buy. Did I mention you can use them doing body work on your car, too. They're easy to load and comfortable to use.

One of the best sanding tools ever!
Great for flat surfaces!

A bit expensive BUT WORTH IT!
At first I balked at the [$] price tag...until I got it home and started using it.I bought one of these along with Sanding Block Item #07A06 to see which I liked best. This one wins hands down. Loading the sandpaper is a piece of cake, unlike the latter. And that is what makes all the difference. It also uses the sandpaper efficiently, also unlike the latter.I also echo what everyone else says about its comfort, it fits the hand naturally. You will be tired of sanding before your hand is.Furthermore, I have them in different colors so I can "color-code" my sandpaper (i.e. red is 100 grit, yellow is 120, etc.) that way you don't have to think about what block is what paper. Just grab the right color. You will need to buy these at the store to make this happen though.
