The Pinnacle® #151 Spokeshave is a flat shave based on the classic Stanley gullwing design made in New Britain, beginning in 1911. It is manufactured from durable, rust resistant 304 stainless steel and features a precisely machined 45° blade bed. We’ve duplicated the original double screw fine blade adjustment and fitted this tool with a cryogenically treated, double tempered Pinnacle/IBC A2 steel blade hardened to Rc 60-62. The #151 is 10-3/4" long, a robust 17+ ounces and utilizes a 2"-wide blade. This tool includes a wooden storage/presentation box with the Pinnacle logo and contains instructions for use, maintenance and care.

    Good job Pinnacle

    Has has a good feel in the hand. Solid, reliable performer. Easily tuned. Paper thin shavings or thick shavings. Hones easily.
