    Adapt your Insert Type NOVA Chuck to a 1” 8TPI lathe with this NOVA IDNS 1" 8TPI Chuck Insert. This allows you to keep the same chuck and accessories if you change your lathe, you’d only need to change the insert / adpator. The internal thread is 1" 8TPI and the external thread matches the NOVA Insert Type chucks, to simply and easily screw into the back of the chuck. This makes your NOVA Insert Type chuck ready to attach to your 1" 8TPI threaded lathe spindle. The insert is precisely machined from 1045 High Tensile steel.

    Return Information

    Within 30 days of delivery of a shipment, you may return any Teknatool product for a full refund of the product's purchase price minus a 10% restocking fee. Teknatool may also refund the shipping cost if the return is resulting from Teknatool's error. They cannot accept returns on items returned more than 30 days after delivery (unless, of course, the item has a manufacturer's defect in which case it would be covered by that product's specific warranty). Items must be in their original condition to qualify for any kind of refund.

      it was excatly as described

      I have two lathes with differnt spindle threads so I use one chuck and switch the adapter as required, later on I will probably buy another chuck from Nova and the I will allready have the adapter for it.

      DON'T JUDGE BY ITS COVER

      I PURCHASED AN INSERT AND IT WAS IN A PLASTIC WOODCRAFT BAG. I ALSO PURCHASED A 3/4 INSERT AND IT CAME IN A TEKNATOOL BOX. WAS THE 1" A TECKNATOOL INSERT OR WAS IT MADE IN CHINA. THE INSTRUCTIONS FROM TECHNATOOL DO NOT RECOMMEND THE USE OF NON TECHNATOOL ACCESSORIES

      Change hub because of new lathes.

      Purchased a new lathe, and had a 1/12 hub, needed the 1/8 to fit both new lathes.

      Tells every thing you need

      will use with chuck to turn larger projects on back side of head. Its small and ready to use. Havent had anything show up so far.
