    The NOVA 5016 Tailstock Adaptor (adaptor only) fits all NOVA lathes, other lathes with a 2MT tailstock, and NOVA Chucks with 1-1/4"- 8 Threads. The tailstock adaptor allows for perfect alignment when remounting work to turn the other side in dead or live modes. This saves you time and material which is normally wasted when truing up. In live mode it can also be used to support work for a chuck, such as vacuum chucking. It has 1-1/4" 8 TPI RH threads, and is made from medium tensile carbon steel to provide maximum structural strength.


    Adaptor only, pictures #2 and #3 show adaptor installed in a tail stock and with a chuck in use. Tail Stock, live center or chuck is not included.

    Return Information

    Within 30 days of delivery of a shipment, you may return any Teknatool product for a full refund of the product's purchase price minus a 10% restocking fee. Teknatool may also refund the shipping cost if the return is resulting from Teknatool's error. They cannot accept returns on items returned more than 30 days after delivery (unless, of course, the item has a manufacturer's defect in which case it would be covered by that product's specific warranty). Items must be in their original condition to qualify for any kind of refund.

      #2 MT AND 1 1/4 X 8 TPI

      Last reviewer said it would not fit his G3 chuck well thats most likely he has a G3 with 1X8 tpi threads so the 1 star review is bogus and reviewer needs to read the description before ordering. The adapter was not a universal one fits all chucks as he claimed. Reviews like that are misleading and just plain old stuck on stupid and are a disservice to other customers.

      Does NOT fit all nova chucks

      I bought this so that I could fit live cole jaws on my tailstock. I bought a brand new Nova G3 chuck and then bought this adaptor because it said it would fit all Nova chucks. It does NOT fit the G3 chuck. It is way too big, not even close.
