Great Kit!
This is my favorite pen kit. The ink is high quality, it writes well, and looks beautiful. The simple mechanics also work in its favor, being that it is simply a screw-on cap. No internal twist or click mechanisms that quit working after a week, just simplicity at its finest, leading to a high-quality and long-lasting finished product. Highly recommend!

Pretty but.....
Turned this pen. The tubes are beautiful, metal hardware is gorgeous but the plastic fittings for the screw cap and end cap are not snug. Fixed with a little CA, but I can’t ever disassemble it again. :(

This is a great kit. They can be purchased from Timberbits for a third of the price though. They also sell the quality refills to take this pen to the next level of writing.

Great Pen
I love the pen kit and it came out great. Very solid pen in all respects. Do yourself a favor and spend a few dollars for a Mont Blanc or a Vistconti refill. The refills that come with all of these kits are pretty much junk. It writes well with the cheap refill included. It writes and feels fantastic with a quality refill.

One of my favorites
I was surprised how easy it was to make this pen, especially considering how professional it looks. Unlike the American style rollerball and fountain pens, you don't have to turn a tenon, everything presses together, assembly is very smooth and straightforward, and the cap posts easily and is well balanced. My only complaint is that if you leave the tip on the paper (writing too slowly), the ink will run and make a bit of a mess.

What started as a Xmas gift for a friend turn out so excellent; I had to make one for myself. Great quality finish to the parts and quick shipping has really sold me.

A very good pen!
Kit is good and easy to put together leaving you with a nice looking pen.Some things to be aware of. On occasion the finial on the body of the pen has been loose. So loose that the force of the spring pushed it off the tube. A simple fix is locktite should that occur.Just a little dab. This doesnt effect disassimbly of pen should you need to. Another is that the black threaded body connectors can wear.They are plastic and the black can wear off. None of these are deal killers for this pen. For the price you get a good kit with attractive parts that anyone can assemble.I use one as my everyday carry and I dont even write at work.

Fantastic!
I'm in love with these kits. Compared to Navigator all those other pen kits (around the same price) look like mere pen parts in a plastic bag - whereas this is really a kit! All visible parts are metal, the pen has a nice heft to it. Assembling is a breeze! Great value for the price. Highly recommended.
